Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom
of heaven belongs to such as these.” – Matthew 19:14

This has been a difficult time for parents and children.  The normal routine for families has been disrupted.  Remember that in all things, Jesus gives us the strength and the light. When the pandemic is over, we will optimistically look forward to teaching the children that God loves them, and will never forsake them.

(Shown below is the normal activity of our Sunday School)

From Rally Day (2nd Sunday in September) through Children’s Day (2nd Sunday of June),  Sunday Church School (SCS) classes meet at 10:00 a.m., welcoming children ages 3 through 18. Starting each Sunday with a special worship service engages all SCS age groups in experiencing God’s love.

The SCS begins its time in the Sanctuary at 10:00 am and participates in the Children’s Message with the pastor.  As students then disburse into their classes, the dedicated and caring instructors teach lessons that infuse Biblical messages with practical life applications.

Many times during the year, the SCS  is an active participant or leader of the LPC worship service. Using many exciting activities, such as drama, crafts, and service projects,  children learn the importance of serving the community and coming together to know Jesus.

The Sunday Church School is a very special group of people, children and adults alike, who are there for each other, who learn and share with each other, who have fun together, and grow in their faith together. Come worship with The Linden Presbyterian Sunday Church School!
