Outreach

MISSION COMMISSION

We invite speakers to come to our church to discuss the missionary services they provide to various communities throughout the world.  Our Churchmanship Committee is part of the Linden Interfaith Council, which is involved with many valuable activities and services in our community, which includes:

  • World Day of Prayer
  • Good Friday Tenebrae
  • Christian Education
  • Crop Walk
  • Joint Thanksgiving Worship Service
  • LINCS (Linden Interfaith Network for Community Service)

LPC MISSION PROJECT

Services numerous families monthly with basic food needs.  If you would like to donate food items or time, contact: 908-486-3073.

  • Food Needs: non-perishables especially cereal, peanut butter, jelly, tuna fish, crackers, canned fruit, pancake mix, pancake syrup, and powdered milk.
  • Volunteer Needs: Food packers
  • Volunteer Requirements: 18 and older
  • Special Needs: Funding, storage space

 OTHER OUTREACH

AARP Meetings: 4th Friday of the Month at Walter Hall 

AARP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan membership organization that helps people 50+ have independence, choice and control in ways that are beneficial and affordable to them and society as a whole.

LPC sponsors AA Meetings: Every Thursday 8 PM

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope as it relates to recovery from alcoholism.
