Welcome to the website of The Linden Presbyterian Church.
I hope you find us to be a church to your liking. I am proud to say I have been pastor of this congregation since September of 1979, and I have been blessed to be a part of many changes, including the electronic technology that enables us to meet this way. We always strive to turn challenges into the blessings our Creator has designed them to be.
Here at “LPC” we strive to be “A Family Church for the Whole Family.” We view ourselves as a family of God’s children meeting and working together in Christian witness and service. As with any family, we are Christian brothers and sisters, of all ages, sharing our gifts and our blessings to address the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of those who pass through our doors and those who live in the communities around us.
Our sense of “community” extends beyond the corner of Princeton Road and Orchard Terrace, beyond the city of Linden, and even beyond the state of New Jersey. Our lives touch (and are touched by) Christian and non-Christian brothers and sisters throughout the world.
As we live by faith, we are guided by the Scriptures, and we share as family. Because of that, our mission and ministry continue grow and to reach out to those struggling to understand God’s will and God’s way. As you view the various pages of this web site, you will see that we have vital ministries in many areas, including youth, hunger relief, music, women, men, and community. We also provide a home for a newly formed Hispanic congregation, as well as various community-based organizations, such as chapters of A.A.R.P. and A.A.
Spend a few minutes with us and check out who we are and what we’re about as you view the pages of this site. Thank you for your interest and for your time.

In His Continued Service,
Rev. Dr. William C. Weaver
